Students in grades 6-8 were challenged to read this fall. Many students read more than one novel while two students read over 40 books each! Well done students and keep on Reading!

Today was a wrap up day for 6th grade Library Studies Students. They were able to try out their basketball moves like Reed Shepard and learned about how Steve Jobs inspired one student to create a Golf Game with Scratch coding. They finished up by using iPads to scan QR codes to see inspirational people in action and to see the resources used to develop the presentations. Great work everyone! ---Ms. U

Library Studies Students in grades 6, 7, and 8 were tasked with researching an inspirational person or topic this quarter.
They shared their learning in a variety of ways including: Sports demonstrations, tri-fold boards with QR codes to their Works Cited information and additional videos and articles about their topic; digital posters, TED Talk style presentations, and original artworks. One group presented findings on a PBL Book Club: How to get more students to read. Thank you to all teachers and county office staff for taking time out of your day to hear the students talk about who or what inspires them. "Meaningful Learning, Meaningful Lives." Well done students! --Ms. U

Awesome job, guys! Keep up the great work.

When all you want is attention from your parents (principals) so you rebel.

ACMS 8th graders volunteered to assist with Holiday Assistance this morning. Adair FRYSC is so thankful for their hard work moving all these boxes from storage!

6th graders used their investigative skills to decipher hieroglyphics & answer questions about Ancient Egypt. Afterwards, they had to work together to crack the mathematical code to unlock the box! Prizes awaited our victors, and a huge relief left them as they correctly calculated the sequence!

ACMS celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday at school!
Thank you to all the Students, Teachers, Cafeteria workers and Administration for making this a fantastic day!
