ACMS FFA students visited the farms of Tim and Tenley Dexter this week. Students learned about the role of working dogs on farming operations and specifically about how Mrs. Dexter trains her Australian Shepherds to work livestock. Students also learned about the hair sheep breeds, Katahdin and White Dorper, in addition to learning about the Dexters' market lamb operation. We really appreciated Mrs. Dexter inviting us to visit and learning about their farming operation!
