ACMS Swag Tag Winners and Students of the Month!

We did it! The ACMS Technology Student Help Desk (The Tech SHed) placed in the top 2 middle school help desks in the state! The students work hard each day during 5th period M-Th to troubleshoot Chromebook issues/make repairs and help with other technology maintenance. As a team, they met with judges from KDE's Division of Technology Services and other upper level technology leaders across the state to discuss what they do to support our students, staff and the district technology department. They also had to express their goals for the Tech SHed: grow their knowledge of Tier I support services, earn real technology certifications to be career ready and, most urgent on their list: Bring the Technology Help Desk to ACHS—they want to continue to grow as leaders in the service of instructional technology support services. Way to go ACMS Tech SHed! Story by Rebecca D. Ungerer, ACMS School Librarian Media Specialist, STC and STLP Coach.
